Tarmini Mootoosamy

Tarmini joined ERS as a Consultant in 2021 after completing a Master’s degree in Development Studies at the Institute of Development Studies (University of Sussex). Prior to this, Tarmini completed her Bachelor’s degree in Economics at UCL, before working in food policy and research for two years.

Tarmini provides supportive capacity across project evaluations, proposal and report writing, and undertaking fieldwork. Given her exposure to both quantitative and qualitative social sciences, Tarmini has extensive experience in designing and conducting interviews and consultations with a wide range of stakeholders (from beneficiaries to policymakers) and using this to supplement quantitative data analysis. Her previous professional experience means that Tarmini is skilled in communicating technical analysis with non-specialist audiences, as well as producing high quality reports and policy analysis.
