Mair has been working in research and evaluation for six years and joined ERS in 2015 after working in Mid Wales. She has since managed evaluations for a range of public and voluntary sector clients and funders and has first-rate quantitative and qualitative research skills which she has exercised in the UK and internationally.
With an academic background in sustainability and environmental management, Mair has particularly enjoyed working on projects for Natural Resources Wales, Defra and most recently the Wildlife Trust for an evaluation of its £33m Our Bright Future Programme which is supporting young people’s engagement with the environment.
In her time at ERS Mair has also specialised in undertaking creative research with young people, evaluating a youth arts festival, young people’s perceptions of flooding and experience of financial capability training.
Mair is experienced in qualitative analysis, using software such as Nvivo and enjoys presenting data and findings visually through infographics and visual executive summaries.
