Matthew Jones BA (Hons) MA

Matthew is a Research Consultant at ERS based in the Newcastle office. Matthew provides cross cutting research and analytical support across a range of projects including project and programme evaluations, socio economic studies and community consultation projects. In particular he has experience of undertaking beneficiary surveys with a range of businesses and residents on behalf of regeneration partnerships including NDCs, analysing a range of primary and secondary statistics and drafting sections of reports.

Matthew joined ERS while completing his MA in Regional Development at Newcastle University having already graduated from The University of Sheffield with a BA in Geography. While undertaking the dissertation element of his MA course, Matthew incorporated a voluntary placement with Newcastle City Council and One NorthEast in order to research the relationship between academic theory and public policy within economic development in Newcastle.

Matthew also has experience of consultation with employers and wider communities, as well as SPSS data analysis and report writing skills.
