Andy
Parkinson BA(Hons) MPhil PgDip MIED
Andy is an Associate Director as ERS and has significant
experience of managing studies of a whole range of regeneration
initiatives including SRB, NDC, NRF and NMPs. Andy has
led the evaluation of a range of area-based funding programmes
and also underpinned the delivery of the NRU sponsored
Supporting Evidence for Local Delivery (SELD) pilot in
the North East. Andy has a particular interest in crime
prevention and community safety initiatives and has managed
the evaluation of Neighbourhood Warden schemes, Police
Community Support Officers (PCSO) teams, target hardening
initiatives and approaches to tackling anti-social behaviour.
Andy has also recently supported the development of LEGI
proposals and the preparation of Local Area Agreements
(LAA) in Slough.
Andy has previously held roles within health authorities
supporting the delivery of the Tyne and Wear Health Action
Zone (HAZ) programme as well as managing the research
function of Northumbria Police’s Crime Management
Department.
