Hackney Worklessness Model
Team Hackney has commissioned ERS to evaluate the impact of
the interventions aiming to support people into long term
employment and training initiated through the Team Hackney
Economic Development Partnership’s Worklessness Model.
The study aims to identify any best practice developed through
the Model and make recommendations to inform future activity.
The
study includes a review of the model’s methodology;
an intervention delivery and impact assessment of three pilot
contracts and three sectoral contracts; and a three-year longitudinal
tracking study of a cohort of beneficiaries from across the
contracts ending in March 2010.
A
key element of the methodology will be the longitudinal tracking
study which will assess the views and progress of a cross-section
of beneficiaries engaged by the programme, including a sample
of non-completers. It will provide evidence on Client satisfaction,
hard and soft outcomes; spatial impact; and a counter-factual
assessment of the programme’s impact.
